About Velanti
Velanti is a trendy color, cut & blowdry club in Amsterdam. Healing hair is what we do. We work with organic products, both for your hair and for your mind, body & soul. To us, that's professional hair care at its best. Our top hair stylists and colorists understand their trade. They take the time to get to know you: who you are and how you want others to perceive you. Together, we will find a natural hair style that suits you.

You want to look your best and don’t want to gamble on coloring your hair. We get that. We know how to change one shade to another and make the outcome look natural and effortless. In fact, we dare say we’re the only salon in Amsterdam with the expertise to successfully color and style European, Asian and Black hair.

You might crave a new head of hair, thicker and fuller. Well, you aren't the only one. As we get older, our hair gets thinner. It’s a natural process. Or hair gets damaged and changes structure by stress, diet or medication. We are professionals when it comes to hearweaving, the best way to give your hair length and volume.

Every second Sunday of the month you can join us for live music. We offer a mix of afro, jazz, funk, soul, bossa nova and samba. We serve snacks and drinks, including coffee, wine, beer and vegan wraps and toasts.
Blowdry subscription
Join the club
Would you like to have your hair thoroughly washed, conditioned, treated with organic products and blow-dried once a week? Schedule a set day and time with one of our top stylists for €144,- a month. Sign up for a blowdry subscription and receive approximately €10,- discount on a regular blowdry at our salon and we even throw in a free head massage every week. Sounds good, right?

We work exclusively with cruelty-free organic products. This is reflected in our own carefully selected organic Velanti hair care range, complemented by brands such as Balmain, Kevin Murphy, L’ANZA and Olaplex. Our shop and bar breathe fair-trade and organic.

Velanti is situated in a concept store, designed to reflect the Amsterdam-Zuid location. Our interior designer helped us make vibrant wall art to reflect the Velanti lifestyle: natural, artistic and colorful. We believe this is why our clients immediately feel our warm family vibe the minute they step into our salon.
